The Spartanburg, South Carolina Reading Clinic opened June 1, 1986. Janice Myers is the owner. Tutors come from the surrounding community. Many of them now attend area colleges. Tutors have a high working knowledge of the English language and good math skills. Tutors are  mature enough to work with students of all ages.	We have over 1700 successful former students. We graduate 150 new students every year! You could be next! We test all tutors before we hire them to tutor your student. We train tutors in the methods and materials used at the Clinic.
